Disease Outbreak

DISEASE

OUTBREAK

Moderate Epidemic Syndrome

Are you Suffering from M.E.S?

This illness has spread so violently that it has become a pandemic in a very short
period of time. It has spread from country to country, city to city and from place to
place.

Such is the severity of the illness, that it affects the old and young, rich and poor, strong and weak, men and women. The grave danger this illness poses has been overlooked by doctors and specialists and although diagnosis and cures are quick and simple, ignorance of it has killed many.

Symptoms of this malignant health hazard originate in the heart but then spread rapidly to the rest of the body almost undetected. This illness is more commonly known as "not practising Islam." We have listed some of the symptoms on the right so that you may be able to diagnose it and see if you or your family and friends are suffering from it.

There are many more symptoms of this illness, however these are from the most
prominent.

This is a small advice to you to encourage you to change and become more like the Messenger Muhammad (pbuh) and his Companions. Whoever follows Islam, it will only benefit himself and whoever turns away, it is only to his own loss. As Muslims we must keep in mind our final goal is to reach Jannah (Paradise)

O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded. (At-Tahrim 66:6)

Symptoms:
1. Missing or laziness in the 5 daily Prayers.
2. Lack of reciting/acting upon the Quran.
3. Doing a Haraam (prohibited) job e.g. selling alcohol, dealing with
interest or working for police.
4. Watching bollywood/hollywood movies
6. Imitating popstars/rappers/footballers
7. Smoking/sheesha or taking drugs or any sort of intoxicants.
8. Free mixing between men and women having boyfriend/girlfriends
9. Lack of concern regarding the affairs of the Muslims worldwide
10. Having friends already suffering from the symptoms of this illness
We advise you to ask any learned practising Muslims you know for advice to aid you in your recovery. However, it is a tragedy that the problem is not being taken seriously and as a consequence, more and more of the Muslim youth are developing these symptoms every day. The following are some of the remedies to cure this deadly disease.

Cures:
1. Praying all your prayers (Salaah) on time.
2. Reading/contemplating and acting upon the Quran.
3. Having good Muslim friends.
4. Spending time learning about Islam by going to classes.
5. Learning about the stories of great Muslims of the past and trying to imitate them.
6. Keeping an eye on the affairs of the Muslim Ummah and making dua (supplication) for them.
7. Earning and eating Halal (lawful).
8. Staying far away from places of disobedience e.g. Sheesha clubs/night clubs
